Tradewind Recruitment is working in close partnership with a number of outstanding specialist provisions across Greater Manchester that support children and young people with complex learning needs, severe and profound difficulties, and additional physical, sensory, and communication needs.
We are currently recruiting passionate, patient, and dedicated teaching staff who are looking for a truly rewarding role where every small step makes a big difference.
The role:
- Teaching small classes with high levels of adult support
- Delivering highly differentiated and sensory-based learning activities
- Supporting pupils with PMLD, SLD, ASD, and complex medical needs
- Working closely with therapists, support staff, and families
- Creating a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
- Supporting communication through PECS, Makaton, or AAC strategies
We are looking for people who:
- Are passionate about supporting children with complex needs
- Have experience in SEND, care, education, or therapeutic settings (desirable but not essential)
- Are patient, nurturing, and resilient
- Can work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Hold (or are willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS check and suitable references
