Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a resilient and experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in central Stockport. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about early years education and has strong experience supporting children with SEND and challenging behaviour.
You will be working within a Nursery setting, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping to create a safe, engaging, and structured learning environment.
- Support children within a Nursery setting on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils with SEND
- Manage and support challenging behaviour effectively and positively
- Proven experience working with SEND, ideally within an Early Years setting
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
- A proactive, flexible, and committed attitude
