Are you a passionate and committed Learning Support Assistant eager to make a real difference in the classroom? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic LSAs to join vibrant and supportive primary schools in St. Helen's & surrounding areas who have a strong background working with SEN students.
Support for Pupils
- Assist individual pupils or small groups to understand and complete learning activities.
- Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities.
- Help pupils develop social skills, independence, and confidence.
- Encourage positive behaviour and help manage challenging behaviour following school policies.
- Support pupils with personal care, if required.
Support for the Teacher
- Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
- Assist with the assessment and recording of pupils' progress.
- Provide feedback to the teacher on pupils' achievements or difficulties.
- Help manage classroom routines and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Supervise pupils during lessons, transitions, or break times when required.
