Primary School | Long-Term Role | February Start

This is a long-term position starting on 23rd February 2026, continuing through to 17th July 2026, offering consistency and the opportunity to make a real impact across the academic year.

The Role

As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs
  • Support learning, engagement and emotional regulation throughout the school day
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Implement strategies outlined in EHCPs or support plans
  • Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour
  • Support both academic and social development

This role would suit someone patient, consistent and confident in building positive relationships.
