Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive Secondary SEN School in the Rossendale Valley. This role is ideal for a teacher passionate about breaking down barriers to learning and helping students with complex needs thrive.
The Role:
- Planning and delivering creative, adapted lessons for students with Autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
- Developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Leading a team of Teaching Assistants to provide a nurturing classroom environment.
- Collaborating with parents and external specialists to track and support student progress.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Significant experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
- A patient, resilient, and flexible teaching style.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
