Role Overview
As a Site Supervisor, you will play an essential role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors. You will support the day-to-day operational running of the premises and help create a positive learning environment.
Working Hours (Term Time Only)
- Flexible shift patterns are available, including:
- Option 1 - Split Shift ~ Morning and afternoon split shifts to support school opening and closing
- Option 2 - Early Shift ~ 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Option 3 - Late Shift ~ 10:00am - 6:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and locking the school premises
- Carrying out general maintenance and basic repairs
- Ensuring cleanliness and site presentation standards are maintained
- Conducting routine health & safety and security checks
- Supporting contractors and site services where required
- Helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment for the school community
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a site supervisor, caretaker, facilities assistant, or maintenance operative
- Good practical maintenance and DIY skills
- Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
- Reliable, flexible, and professional approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
