Are you currently working in care, healthcare, residential care, supported living, mental health or another support-based role and looking for a rewarding career change? The school supports pupils with a range of complex needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), communication needs and associated complex needs.
The Role
- Support pupils throughout the school day on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Build trusting relationships that help pupils feel safe, valued and confident.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging learning activities.
- Encourage pupils to develop communication, independence and life skills.
- Support pupils with personal care where required.
- Promote positive behaviour through patience, consistency and empathy.
- Work alongside teachers, therapists and other professionals to provide the best outcomes for every pupil.
- Help create a calm, safe and nurturing learning environment.

Pay Rate
