The predicted salary is between 31650 - 43607 £ per year.

Start September 2026. Full‑time contract. Up to £282.49 per day PAYE.

About the Role

You’ll take responsibility for leading SEND provision across EYFS and Key Stage 1, ensuring children receive the right support from the very beginning of their educational journey.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop high‑quality SEND provision across EYFS and KS1.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, parents and external agencies.
  • Monitor pupil progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Provide coaching, advice and professional development support for colleagues.
  • Ensure statutory SEND processes are completed to a high standard.
  • Drive inclusive practice across the school and contribute to strategic development.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience as a SENDCO or aspiring SEND leader currently preparing for or after the NASENCO qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and inclusive classroom practice.
  • Confidence working collaboratively with families, staff and external professionals.
  • Excellent organisation, leadership and communication skills.
  • Commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children with additional needs.
