For Companies The successful candidate will be supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional Mental Health (SEMH), therefore, it is vital that you have prior experience supporting a student with these needs on a one-to-one basis.
Due to the behaviour, the school is seeking a Teaching Assistant who is calm, patient, resilient and positive.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

Previous experience working with children with SEMH or SEN (essential)

Strong knowledge surrounding behavioural challenges (essential)

Experience supporting students one-to-one (desirable)

Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification or equivalent (desirable)
The Essentials:

Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure (cost of DBS is refunded after working 20 days)

Hold an EWC or be prepared to apply for one

A full, 10-year career history and be able to provide a minimum of 2 references

Legal right to work in the UK

A minimum of 2 professional references including one from your most recent employer
