Are you a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in Northampton? Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a range of inclusive and well‑resourced secondary and specialist schools across the Northampton area, and we are seeking dedicated Specialist SEND Teachers to join these supportive learning environments.
In this role, you will work with pupils who have a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs, ensuring that every student is supported to achieve their full potential.
You will play a key role in creating a positive and structured classroom environment, using effective behaviour management strategies and inclusive teaching approaches. Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and targeted interventions.
To be considered for this position, you must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification, along with proven experience working within SEND settings. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a patient, nurturing approach are essential qualities for success in this role.
