Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with exceptional skills in behaviour management and de-escalation techniques? If so, Tradewind is looking for someone like you to join their team in a behavioural support role.

As a successful candidate, you will have experience in Team Teach, Pru, alternative provision, or as a support worker in a residential children\’s home. You will also have either a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in teaching support or a related field.
In this role, you will:
Work with selected pupils outside of the classroom situation, including those excluded from or not working to a normal timetable.
You will develop 1:1 mentoring arrangements with pupils to help them agree on plans and targets to move forward.
You will provide information and advice to enable pupils to make choices about their own learning, behaviour, and attendance.
You will also provide support to pupils to enhance their emotional health and well-being (EHWB).
You will also involve helping pupils to follow individual Education Plans where appropriate, as well as assisting in organising and running small group interventions such as circle time.
You will also liaise with parents and carers as appropriate.To be considered for this role, you must be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references checks. This is a full time role starting ASAP and the competitive pay rate will be between £90 to £100 per day, depending on experience.
