A welcoming Primary School in the NG8 postcode area is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team, starting as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support children with additional needs, helping them to access the curriculum, develop socially and emotionally, and achieve their full potential within a supportive primary setting.

The Role:

  • SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Based at a Primary School in NG8

  • Start ASAP

  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions

What We\’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a primary setting

  • A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
  • Confidence supporting pupils with a range of additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs)
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
