We are seeking a skilled SEND Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

About the Role

This full-time role involves working closely with a committed SEN team to provide tailored support for students with a variety of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH. The school is well-resourced, has a purposeful and nurturing learning environment, and offers its staff a strong culture of collaboration and professional development.

You will:

• Support students with SEND in one-to-one and small group settings.
• Assist in delivering personalised learning strategies aligned with EHCPs.
• Help foster an inclusive, respectful, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for learners.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional resilience.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have experience supporting SEND students in an educational setting.
• Be confident in adapting learning strategies to meet individual needs.
• Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a calm, proactive approach.
• Communicate effectively with both students and colleagues.
• Hold a valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
