The Role & The Pupils

You will work within our specialised unit, which is divided into two rooms of 6 pupils each. You will support a mixed-age cohort with complex needs, including Autism (ASD), non-verbal communication profiles, and sensory/regulation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Regulation: Using our sensory spaces and innovative techniques to support children in staying regulated and ready to learn.
  • Bespoke Support: Providing 1:1 and small group intervention for pupils with diverse sensory and communication needs.
  • Collaborative Practice: Working alongside our pastoral and teaching teams to implement "out of the box" strategies that help children reach their full potential.

About You

  • Experience: Prior experience with SEN (specifically ASD and non-verbal profiles) is essential.
  • Mindset: You must be proactive, keen to embrace change, and ready to challenge traditional educational boundaries.
  • Commitment: Reliable and energetic on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the Summer Term.
