We're working with a range of SEN schools across Warrington and Halton who are looking for reliable, hands-on SEN Teaching Assistants to join them on both a short-term and long-term basis.

These SEN Teaching Assistant roles involve supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and complex learning needs, so would suit someone who is confident working in a structured but sometimes challenging education and SEN environment.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant (LSA), SEN Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or Care Worker, or anyone who has worked with children or vulnerable individuals and is looking to build a career in the education sector.

The role:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups as an SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Working closely with teachers to support learning, behaviour, and engagement
  • Helping manage routines, transitions, and emotional regulation
  • Supporting pupils with additional needs including autism, SEMH, and behavioural challenges

We're looking for:

  • Experience in SEN, education, support work, care, or youth work
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach suited to SEN settings
  • Someone reliable and available for work in Warrington or Halton
  • Full-time availability is strongly preferred
