An Outstanding Primary School in St Albans, Hertfordshire is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils with additional needs, including those who may present with challenging behaviour.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN.
- Support pupils with additional needs and help create a calm, structured, and positive learning environment.
- Assist with behaviour management and use de-escalation techniques as required in a school setting.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support pupils’ progress and well-being.
