Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-established SEND school in Hillingdon, seeking a committed and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis. This specialist setting supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, SEMH and complex learning difficulties, offering a structured, nurturing environment where staff work closely together to support every child's development.
The Role
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assist with learning, emotional regulation and behaviour support
- Work alongside teachers and therapists to deliver personalised support plans
- Encourage independence, confidence and positive engagement
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
- A calm, patient and proactive approach
- Confidence supporting pupils with additional and complex needs
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
