Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a caring, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary and secondary school in the Wellingborough area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping every student achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

About the Role:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with a range of special educational needs (including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties).
  • Support pupils both academically and emotionally, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to implement personalised learning plans.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and engagement.

Requirements:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
