Full-Time | Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be supporting a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Potters Bar, Hertsmere, Hertfordshire, who are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a KS2 pupil in a mainstream setting.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, with the intention to offer a long-term, permanent contract after two successful terms. The child, currently in Year 3, has Williams Syndrome and complex needs, and is already well-settled within the school environment.

The Role

1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with Williams Syndrome in a mainstream classroom
Supporting learning, emotional regulation, and social development
Implementing strategies from EHCPs and working closely with the SENCo
Encouraging independence while providing consistent support
Working collaboratively with the class teacher and wider inclusion team
Supporting transitions, routines, and personalised learning activitiesPay & Working Pattern

Β£90-Β£110 per day (dependent on experience)
Full-time, term-time only
Temporary to permanent contract
Start date: immediately after half-term (or sooner for the right candidate)What We\’re Looking For

Proven experience supporting children with SEN (1:1 experience essential)
Experience with complex needs and/or Williams Syndrome highly desirable
Calm, patient, and nurturing approach
Confident working in a mainstream classroom setting
