I'm currently working with a really supportive SEN school in Hounslow who are looking for a committed SEN Teacher to join their team. The school supports students with a range of needs including SEMH, ASD and ADHD, so they're looking for someone who is confident managing behaviour, building relationships and creating a positive learning environment.
The role will involve:
- Teaching small classes with additional needs
- Planning and adapting lessons to suit different learning styles
- Supporting students with EHCPs
- Managing behaviour in a calm and consistent way
- Working closely with TAs and the wider school team
They're looking for someone who:
- Has QTS (or equivalent)
- Has experience working within SEN settings
- Is confident with behaviour management
- Is patient, resilient and genuinely passionate about supporting students
- Can build strong relationships with both students and staff
