SEND Teaching Assistant - Year 3 and 5 Tradewind are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Bedford, starting immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience working in a school, who is passionate about supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing. The Role Supporting pupils across Year 3 and Year 5. Working in Year 5 in the morning and Year 3 in the afternoon. Providing classroom support to help pupils engage with their learning. Supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a calm, supportive learning environment. Working closely with the class teacher to ensure pupils receive the support they need. The Ideal Candidate Has previous experience working in a school setting. Has experience supporting children with SEND. Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills. Is confident, patient and proactive when supporting pupils with different learning needs. Has excellent communication and teamwork skills. Is reliable, adaptable and available to start immediately. What We Offer A full-time position in a mainstream primary school.
