Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting a Full-Time SEMH Teacher for a supportive school located in the NG13 postcode area. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, starting as soon as possible, giving you the chance to make a real impact while securing a long-term role.

The Role - SEMH Teacher:
- Full-time teaching role supporting pupils with SEMH needs
- Deliver engaging lessons tailored to the social, emotional, and academic needs of the students
- Plan, assess, and adapt learning strategies for pupils with SEMH challenges
- Provide a structured, safe, and nurturing classroom environment
- Work closely with SENCO, support staff, and pastoral teams to monitor progress
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs
- Knowledge of strategies to support pupils with behavioural, social, and emotional challenges
- Calm, resilient, and patient with excellent classroom management skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
