In this role, you won’t be standing at the front of a classroom teaching curriculum. Instead, you will be on the frontline of student well-being—working 1-on-1 and in small groups with students who need extra guidance, emotional regulation, and a positive role model to help them thrive in school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentoring & Guidance: Work closely with students displaying challenging behaviour, low self-esteem, or anxiety, helping them re-engage with their education.
  • Pastoral Intervention: Run targeted intervention sessions focused on emotional literacy, anger management, attendance, and conflict resolution.
  • De-escalation: Support the school's internal inclusion or pastoral hub, managing student dysregulation using a calm, restorative approach.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Heads of Year, Safeguarding Leads (DSLs), and parents to track pupil progress and implement positive behaviour plans.
