Tradewind Recruitment is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Face-to-Face Tutors to support students across KS2-KS4 in the Scunthorpe area. This is a rewarding role helping learners re-engage with education, build confidence, and make progress in core subjects. Most students receive 10 hours of tuition per week, usually delivered as 2 hours per day. We are looking for tutors who want to support multiple students to build hours or those seeking part-time, flexible work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 face-to-face tuition tailored to individual needs
  • Support pupils with SEN, SEMH, or gaps in learning
  • Build confidence, motivation, and engagement
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies
  • Work independently while liaising with schools and support teams

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching or tutoring KS2, KS3, or KS4
  • Confident in one or more core subjects: English, Maths, Science
  • Patient, adaptable, and calm approach
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or relevant experience desirable but not essential
  • Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
  • Legal right to work in the UK
