We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive Primary School team, working with pupils and young people with Autism and Learning Disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping children feel safe, supported, and confident in their learning. You will play a vital role in supporting pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them to develop independence, communication skills, and positive relationships within a nurturing and structured school environment.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with Autism and Learning Disabilities, both 1:1 and in small groups
  • Support pupils with social communication and emotional regulation
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Work well as part of a team and follow school policies

Full training and ongoing support will be provided. Training and development opportunities are available in an inclusive and child-centred school environment. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references.
