About the Role
As a Science Technician, you will work within school science departments to support the teaching and learning of science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics). Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, setting up, and maintaining laboratory equipment and materials
- Ensuring health & safety protocols are followed at all times
- Supporting teachers with practical demonstrations and experiments
- Maintaining stock and ordering supplies when necessary
- Cleaning and safely storing equipment after use
Requirements
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Previous experience working as a Science Technician in UK schools or laboratories
- A solid understanding of COSHH regulations and lab health & safety
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Flexibility and willingness to work across different schools when needed
