We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and qualified Teacher of Science to join a vibrant secondary school community in the Preston area for the Autumn Term 2026. This fixed-term contract runs from the start of the academic year in September 2026 through to the Christmas break in December 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE). Applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with a strong science background are highly welcome.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-impact Science lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Manage practical laboratory work safely and effectively in accordance with CLEAPSS guidelines.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
