We are working with a number of welcoming and forward-thinking secondary schools in Wellingborough seeking enthusiastic Science Teachers to join their teams from April or September 2026. These opportunities are available on both a long-term and permanent basis, depending on your preference and experience.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your specialism.
- Encourage curiosity through practical experiments, investigative work, and real-world applications of Science.
- Differentiating teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs using inclusive and evidence-based strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessment, and enrichment activities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, or the ability to teach across the Science curriculum.
- Confident in classroom management and able to engage students of all abilities.
- Passionate about teaching and committed to continuous professional development.
- A proactive team player who contributes positively to the wider school community.
