A dynamic Kirkham secondary school is looking for a dedicated School Site Supervisor to join our fantastic team! This is a crucial role, ensuring our school premises are safe, secure, and welcoming for all students, staff, and visitors.
About the Role:As our Site Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operational management and maintenance of our school site. Your duties will be varied and essential to the smooth running of our school, including:
Security & Safety: Acting as a key holder, managing alarm systems, conducting regular security checks, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Maintenance & Repairs: Carrying out minor repairs, general DIY tasks, and coordinating with external contractors for larger projects.
Grounds & Facilities: Maintaining the school grounds, overseeing cleanliness, and ensuring facilities are ready for daily use and any events.
Planned Maintenance: Implementing and monitoring planned maintenance programmes to keep our school in top condition.
Logistics: Managing deliveries, moving equipment, and setting up rooms as required.
Teamwork: Working collaboratively with school staff and external partners to maintain a high-quality learning environment.
Proven experience in a similar site management, caretaking, or facilities role, ideally within an educational setting.
Strong practical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Excellent understanding of health and safety procedures.
