Are you a proactive, experienced, and dedicated Site Manager looking for a new challenge in Birmingham? Tradewind Birmingham are seeking an exceptional Site Manager to take pride in our client school site, ensuring it is safe, secure, and well‑maintained for our students, staff, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Health and Safety: Maintain and monitor all health and safety requirements, including fire safety checks, compliance, and risk assessments, to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
• Facilities Management: Oversee all reactive and planned maintenance, conduct minor repairs, and manage external contractors effectively.
• Site Security: Act as a key holder and be responsible for the overall security of the school buildings and grounds, including responding to alarms or emergencies.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, manage, and motivate the site and cleaning staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and effective operation.
• Strategic Planning: Work with the senior leadership team on site development projects and manage budgets for maintenance and supplies.

About you

• Significant experience in a facilities or site management role, preferably within an educational environment.
• A proven track record of managing maintenance, security, and cleaning services to high standards.
• Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety legislation and relevant compliance procedures.
• A positive, approachable attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, pupils, and parents.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
