We are currently recruiting for a reliable and caring First Aid Support Assistant to work on a full-time basis within a welcoming school in the South Shields area, starting immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an existing First Aid qualification who is confident supporting students and staff with minor injuries, illness, and day-to-day medical needs within a busy school environment. Previous school experience is desirable but not essential. This role does not require a qualified nurse or medical professional background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing basic first aid treatment to students and staff
- Administering prescribed medication in line with school procedures
- Monitoring and recording student visits to the medical room
