We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Caretakers to join our friendly and supportive teams in schools across South West London. This vital role ensures our school remains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
About the Role
As our Caretaker, you\’ll be responsible for the general maintenance, cleanliness, and security of the school premises. You will play a key part in the daily operations of the school, responding quickly to maintenance issues, managing contractors, and supporting the smooth running of the school day.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and securing the school site
- Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance
- Ensuring health & safety standards are met
- Monitoring and maintaining heating, lighting, and alarm systems
- Groundskeeping and site cleanliness
- Supporting with school events and setup
What We\’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a caretaker or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of building maintenance and health & safety
- Reliable, proactive, and self-motivated
- Good communication and organisational skills

- Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to get one)
