This rewarding role focuses on supporting students with behavioural needs, keeping them on track academically, and providing crucial social and emotional guidance. The Role We’re looking for a confident, experienced Behaviour Mentor who is: Empathetic and assertive Skilled in managing challenging behaviour Strong in administrative tasks (knowledge of SIMS for logging student progress is a plus)Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one classroom support for students Maintain a visible presence throughout the school to encourage positive behaviour Promote good behaviour and minimise low-level disruption Manage and de-escalate incidents, equipping students with strategies for self-regulation Support students in the isolation room, helping them stay focused on classwork Oversee and manage detention sessions About the School This large secondary school in Haringey has a supportive, inclusive ethos and has been rated “Good” by Ofsted.
