We are delighted to be recruiting an experienced Art / Design Technology Technician for a full-time, 5-day-per-week role within a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school environment in the London Borough of Merton.

About the Role
As an Art / DT Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the Art and Design Technology departments by ensuring lessons run smoothly and safely. You will work closely with teaching staff to prepare materials, maintain equipment, and support practical activities that inspire students\\\β creativity and technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Preparing materials, resources, and equipment for Art and DT lessons
- Maintaining and organising workshops, studios, and storage areas
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Supporting teachers and students during practical lessons when required
- Managing stock levels and assisting with ordering materials
- Contributing to the overall positive and creative learning environment
Requirements
- Previous experience working as an Art and/or DT Technician (essential)
- Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and health and safety procedures
- Organised, reliable, and proactive approach to work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
