Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to present an exciting opportunity on behalf of a welcoming and high-performing primary school in Salford (M7). The school is seeking a committed Year 4 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a long-term basis. This role is initially for Thursdays and Fridays, with the potential to increase to 2.5 days per week.

The Role - Year 4 Teacher

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to a mixed-ability Year 4 class. You will work closely with a partner teacher as part of a job-share arrangement, ensuring consistency in planning, assessment, and classroom practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 4 National Curriculum
  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to support learning and wellbeing
  • Differentiating effectively to meet the needs of all learners and maximise progress
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary
  • Work collaboratively with the job-share teacher, teaching assistants, and wider staff team
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities where appropriate
