Are you an experienced English teacher looking for your next role in Trafford? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-regarded and inclusive secondary school in Trafford to recruit a dedicated and experienced Teacher of English for a full-time role starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident classroom practitioner with strong Key Stage 4 experience who can deliver high-quality English lessons and support pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including SEND.
Daily rate: £178 - £232 per day (depending on experience)
Role
- You will be teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 on a full-time basis.
- A significant part of the timetable will involve Key Stage 4 classes, so the school is looking for an experienced teacher with excellent curriculum knowledge and strong behaviour management skills.

- Have strong experience teaching English at Key Stage 4
- Be confident planning and delivering engaging GCSE English lessons
- Be able to adapt teaching strategies to support SEND pupils and varying learning needs
