Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join a well-established early years setting in South Liverpool. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role within a supportive and nurturing environment. We are looking for a confident practitioner who is passionate about early years education and committed to delivering high-quality care and learning experiences for young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a nursery room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Support, mentor, and guide other staff within the room
- Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
- Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are consistently met
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (EYFS)
- At least 3 years' experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Previous experience in a Room Leader or senior role is desirable
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
