Teaching Assistant (Autism/SEN) – September 2026 – Havering (Romford)
SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf of a 3‑form entry junior school in the borough of Havering (Romford). They are seeking a teaching assistant (Autism/SEN) to join their wonderful and inclusive school.
This is a rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to dramatically improve the social and educational outcomes of young people with Autism. The role will be a 1‑year contract for the full academic year – September 2026 to July 2027.
About You
- You have experience as a teaching assistant (or similar position) supporting Autism and/or special educational needs (SEN).
- You are patient and calm in your approach to supporting children.
- You possess excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- You are committed to equity and inclusion.
- You have a solid understanding of sensory processing differences, communication needs, and social challenges of children with Autism.
