About the Role
As temporary business manager in this SEND school, you will be a key member of the team, ensuring the efficient running of the school's processes and supporting staff, parents, and students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Comprehensive HR function
- Health & Safety of sites
- Complete all DfE and LA returns
- Asset management
- Compliance
- Grant applications and fundraising
- Review of policies and procedures
- Renewal and re-negotiating of Service Level Agreements
- Budget planning, monitoring, and control
- Procurement of goods and services
This is a full-time role and is an excellent opportunity to work in a warm and inclusive school environment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have prior experience working in schools or the education sector in an administrative or finance capacity
- Be proficient with school management systems such as SIMS or Arbor or similar platforms
- Demonstrate strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Be confident in managing sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Hold a valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to apply for one
