Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Primary Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in Retford. Opportunities are available across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with daily supply, short-term, long-term and permanent positions available. We are looking for full-time and part-time teachers, with working patterns available to suit your experience, availability and preferred year groups.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Primary National Curriculum
- Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
- Adapting teaching to meet the individual needs of pupils, including those with SEND
- Assessing pupil progress and providing clear feedback in line with school policies
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement and participation
- Working effectively with Teaching Assistants, colleagues, parents and senior leaders
- Following school safeguarding, behaviour and curriculum policies
- Providing continuity of learning during short-term and long-term cover bookings
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
- Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- A reliable, flexible and professional approach
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances where applicable and suitable professional references
- Comprehensive employment history covering the previous 10 years where possible
- Right to work in the UK
