Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with several secondary schools across Northampton seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Education Teachers to join their teams from January or February. These positions are offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Teaching Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with KS5 opportunities in some schools)
- Delivering engaging lessons covering religion, philosophy, ethics and worldviews
- Encouraging respectful discussion, empathy and understanding of diverse beliefs
- Supporting students of all abilities through inclusive teaching and constructive feedback
- Collaborating within the Humanities or RE department on curriculum planning and enrichment activities
What We're Looking For:
- A qualified RE Teacher with QTS/QTLS or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Religious Education
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment
- A reflective, inclusive practitioner who values student voice and diversity
