A welcoming and well-resourced Primary School in Lewisham is seeking a dedicated Reception Teacher to join their team from January 2026. About the Role

  • Full-time Reception Teacher (5 days per week)
  • Long-term role from January 2026 until the end of the academic year
  • Full classroom responsibilities including:
  • Lesson planning and delivery
  • Parent-teacher meetings
  • Participation in staff meetings and ongoing CPD
  • Paid to scale (M1-M6 Inner London): £206-£268 per day, depending on experience
  • Strong potential for a permanent contract from September 2026
  • About You

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
    • Experience in Early Years (EYFS) is an advantage, but all strong Primary and Nursery experience will be considered
    • Confident in delivering engaging, play-based learning
    • Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
    • Committed, reliable, and enthusiastic about supporting children's early development
