Immediate Start Long-Term Supply Up to 232.56 per day

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with one of our client secondary schools in Wigan to recruit an enthusiastic and committed RE / PSHE Teacher for an immediate start, covering a staff absence until at least Easter. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified RE Teacher or PSHE Teacher looking for a long-term supply role within a supportive and values-led school environment.

The Role

  • Teaching Religious Education and PSHE across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
  • Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Maintaining strong behaviour management in line with school policy
  • Working collaboratively with the Humanities and pastoral teams

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching RE and/or PSHE at secondary level
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Passion for values-based education and student wellbeing
  • Available to start immediately
  • Both ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
