This is a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The Role

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
  • Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team to deliver personalised learning programmes.
  • Support pupils with their social, emotional, and communication development.
  • Encourage independence while promoting a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Have experience working with children with special educational needs, either in a school or similar setting.
  • Be patient, caring, and committed to helping every child succeed.
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to the individual needs of pupils.
  • Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience (desirable but not essential).
