Tradewind Recruitment are hiring a Female PE Teacher (QTS/QTLS) in Trafford. Are you a qualified Female PE Teacher looking for a rewarding role this academic year? Ready to join a supportive school with excellent facilities and a strong PE department?

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a successful secondary academy in Trafford seeking a dedicated Girls' PE Teacher for a full-time role from April to July 2026.

Pay: £168 - £232 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role:

  • Teacher of Girls' PE Sport
  • Full-time, 5 days per week
  • Teaching Core PE at Key Stage 3 and GCSE PE (Year 10)
  • Delivering engaging practical and theory lessons
  • Inspiring participation, teamwork, and confidence
  • Strong behaviour management and high expectations

Important Requirement: Due to the supervision of students in girls' changing rooms, applications are open to female teachers only.

The School: A thriving Trafford secondary school with excellent PE facilities including a sports hall, fitness suite, outdoor pitches, and dance studio. The PE department is supportive and well established, delivering a broad curriculum including netball, athletics, dance, and fitness, alongside strong extracurricular and competitive sport provision.

  • QTS or QTLS (essential)
  • Recent experience teaching secondary PE (KS3 KS4)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
