Contract: Part-Time (2 days per week)
Salary: £168.80 - £262 per day (Paid to scale from Day 1)
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Construction and Design Technology Teacher to support various secondary schools and academies across Rotherham. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity starting immediately for 2 days a week through the remainder of the 2025/2026 academic year.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality Construction and DT lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Foster a safe and engaging workshop environment focusing on practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
- Plan and deliver creative lessons that inspire students to excel in technical subjects.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent secondary teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Design Technology or Construction in a UK secondary setting.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student safety in workshop environments.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
