Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain meaningful experience working with young people before pursuing a career in teaching, educational psychology, mental health, social work or youth support?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting Psychology Graduates to work across secondary schools in Wigan, Warrington, St Helens and the Wirral.

Our partner schools regularly recruit graduates for a variety of long-term, temporary and daily supply positions that provide invaluable experience within education.

These opportunities are ideal for graduates who are passionate about supporting students academically, emotionally and socially while developing practical skills in a school environment.

Roles may include

  • Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • Learning Support Assistant
  • SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Behaviour Mentor
  • Pastoral Support Assistant
  • Cover Supervisor

As a Psychology Graduate working in schools, you'll support students with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, SEMH and moderate learning difficulties.

You'll work alongside experienced teachers and pastoral teams, helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

We are looking for graduates who

  • Hold a degree in Psychology or a related discipline
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Are patient, empathetic and resilient
  • Enjoy working with young people
  • Are considering a career in education or child-focused professions
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one
