Are you a passionate Psychology Graduate eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young individuals? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Psychology Graduate to work at a secondary school in the Folkestone area supporting a student with SEN. This role will be an immediate start until the end of the academic year. The daily rate will be between 90 and 110 depending on experience.
The Role:
- Work on a 1-1 basis with a student understanding their needs and tailoring support accordingly
- Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Provide support and mentorship to help the student navigate any personal or academic challenges
- Address behavioural issues and promote positive interactions within school
Requirements:
- Must hold a Psychology Degree
- Strong communication skills
- Empathy and sensitivity to the needs of the student
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of the student
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
