Tradewind are seeking an experienced Nursery Practitioner to join a Primary and Nursery school located in Barnet. The school are looking for an individual with experience and a proactive approach to join their team.

About the role:

  • This is a mixed ability class, and some pupils are suspected to have SEN needs.
  • Carry out observations and write pupil reports.
  • Lead interventions when necessary.
  • Support the planning and implementation of appropriate experiences for individuals and groups of children.
  • Create stimulating learning resources to encourage academic progress.
  • Set up learning materials.
  • Lead story time.
  • Take responsibility within the team for the 'key person' role for children as defined by the EYFS.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a CACHE level 2 qualification minimum or equivalent.
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Have experience working with EYFS children.
  • Must have lots of initiative and a pro-active approach.
  • Good understanding of EYFS curriculum requirements and their implementation.
  • Basis to good experience of phonics.
  • Awareness to health and safety.
  • Seek solutions to problems & resilient and assertive.
