Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! Are you an ambitious teaching assistant looking for a rewarding role in a primary school? We are seeking experienced and passionate Level 2 Teaching Assistants for our North Liverpool based primary schools. We are working in partnership with welcoming and inclusive primary schools that require dedicated Teaching Assistants to support classes and pupils with additional support needs. There are a range of full and part time roles available to enhance your skills, knowledge and experience as a Teaching Assistant.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support for pupils either individually or in groups
- Support the activities of individuals or groups of children
- Participate in the education of children, including contributing to their health and well-being
- Support children with special needs (if appropriate to the focus of the role)
- Sensory and/or physical impairment
- Cognition or learning difficulties
- Behavioural, emotional and social development needs
- Communication and interaction difficulties
- Support to the teacher(s)
- Provide support for learning activities by supporting the teacher in the planning and evaluation of learning activities
- Support the delivery of learning activities
- Support in organising effective learning environments and maintaining appropriate records
- Support literacy and numeracy activities in the classroom
- Support the maintenance of pupil safety and security
